We are looking forward to another successful regional overnight in Farnham on Thursday and Friday 23rd and 24th April 2015. This is a busy time of year but we hope that you will find time to attend. The steering committee for the region has put together a very strong programme which we hope will be of support to members in their roles in schools.

We would very much like to see you there as this meeting is an invaluable opportunity to engage with colleagues and take some time for reflection and hopefully it will  energize you for the last term in school.

We would particularly urge members and non members who have not attended regularly to take this opportunity to see the value of our region as a support to you.

The conference starts mid afternoon on Thursday and finishes with lunch on Friday. You have to book the hotel yourself. Overnight, including conference and all meals and health breaks is €140. Ask for reservations 049 4377700 Mention the conference and avail of the special rate if you would like to extend your stay to include Friday night. This 2 hour presentation is interactive, motivating and entertaining! The aim is to teach simple practical coping skills for dealing with typical daily stressors. The focus is on self awareness and being more proactive in caring for yourself. It is delivered in a relaxed manner by Karen Belshaw (Psychologist, Stress Management Ireland) who will guide you through all the coping strategies. There is something new for everyone to learn and the exercises are mainly cognitive behavioural therapy based.
